Finally an update. Part 1 of 2

Fall is here, my favorite time of year, an I have been preparing for the colder climate by knitting my self some wonderfully warm hats and gauntlets. I have about 6 hats total, but 3 are new to the collection, as well as 3 new pair of gauntlets (shamefully I loose the ones I make just a quick as I loose the ones I buy). Generally speaking the first 13 years of my daughters life was spent running and screaming at the mere mention of her wearing something hand made, however it appears that the very same hand made gear is suddenly very sheik and hot. Unfortunately for her I have fallen out of the notion of making my baby girl little hats and gloves and have set up residence in the "it's all about me" village. Take a look

"It's all about me" I heard that! My family has a tendency to request projects of me just to own my time. Then, they won't wear the item, claiming some "flaw", typically reserved for hand made items (they don't look store bought enough). Fortunately my baby girl loves her hand mades, but the others can fagettaaboutit!

Oh yeah, what's up with the pattern for that cream hat?
